1984- 2024

Funeral services for Kelly Everett Brown, 40, of Sulphur Springs, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Gene Mattison officiating and Russ Brown, Kevin Brown, Larry Osentowski, Joshua Anderson, Colby Anderson, Seth Osentowski and Justin Ashby serving as pallbearers. Visitation was one hour prior to the service. Interment followed the service at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery. Kelly passed away on March 9, 2024, in Tyler.

Kelly was born on February 16, 1984, to Earl and Doris Brown in Kaufman. He was a graduate from Canton High School in 2003. From there, he served his country in the United States Army, serving two tours in Iraq after being deployed from Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He then worked at various jobs before working for Hertz Car Rental.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Brown; brothers, Russ Brown, Gregg Brown (Amy) and Kevin Brown (Alicia); sisters, Amy Anderson (Larry), Amy Brewer (Johnny) and Shennel Crawford as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Earl Wayne Brown, and one brother, Gerald Crawford.
