Van Zandt County Director of Emergency Management Vicki McAlister shared that there were several road closures in Van Zandt County as a result of a storm that went through the area April 26. “We had several road closures on Friday (April 26) into Saturday (April 27) and there are still some roads in the county that are impassible,” said McAlister through a statement released April 29.

City of Van Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Executive Director Tammy Weidman was among 155 in attendance at the Texas Women in EDC Conference hosted by the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC).
